Modification: Replaced the lack-luster factory radio with a Sony XR-6100 in-dash cassette AM/FM stereo with a model CDX-715 10-disk CD changer (installed in the storage bin behind the driver.) A new set of speakers were mounted in the door for mid-range (sorry but don't know the model of those) along with some extra Pioneer TS-T22 Tweeters. These were mounted inside the door panels and co-located with the stock midrange speakers, so they are hidden.

I also had two Blaupunkt Velocity V220 2x20 Watt adjunct amps installed to drive everything. These are cleverly hidden under teh feet of the passanger side floor mats. Effect: Improved power, and ability to use a vast CD collection. However, increase in power and clarity of CD-quality sound required upgrade to stock speakers. Only the factory rear (bass) speakers remain.

I also just installed (as of April 8th, 2001) a pair of small domed Polk tweeters at the triangular piece at the front of each door . Installation details to follow.
